Easy outfit

Mocking the duck face by doing the duck face.

Cardigan: TJ Maxx
Top: Kohls
Black cami: F21
Jeans: American Eagle
Sneaker wedges: gojane.com
Hat: Walmart
Necklace: Wetseal
Sunglasses: Nine West

I named this the easy outfit, but pretty much it's a BLAH outfit.
There is nothing spectacular about this outfit. I just pretty much threw it on. I had to go pick up a few things at the store, and I wasn't in the mood to get dressed or anything so this is what I chose. When I am not in the mood to choose an outfit, a hat or something covering my head will be involved. Also, my hair has not been washed for a few days and I just didn't want to deal with it...so under a hat it goes... Just keeping it real folks!
Oh...and I apologize once again for the not so clear, indoor photos...it was raining again!

Although this outfit is boring to me, it's acceptable under my circumstances, lol. Sometimes I'm behind schedule, and I have to make it back home before my older kids come home from school, and most times I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

With that said, let me talk about 5 items that really help me (as a busy mom) with completing my outfits. (Especially when I'm in a hurry)

Sunglasses:
Really big ones. Okay, not that big, but big enough. Covers your non-makeup-ed eyes and dark circles if you skip makeup and gives you an instant cool look.

Hat:
Covers dirty hair, or hair not brushed/styled. Gives you a quirky look too.

Accessories/Jewelry:
Just one big piece/statement piece will give your otherwise boring outfit a little kick. The same as what hot sauce does to food.

Cardigan/Coverup:
The layers make the outfit look more complete. And you might need it if your kid spills something and can't find anything else to wipe it with!

Comfortable, but awesome shoes:
This can vary because it depends on your own comfort level. Sometimes I can go run errands with some really huge platform shoes/boots/sandals, etc. I love stiletto heels, but don't really wear them everyday, but only for special occasions. It's not a real practical shoe for me right now, especially with chasing a 3 year old around. So my comfortable, but cool shoe of choice for me right now is the sneaker wedge.

I will be busy packing for an upcoming vacation so I'm not sure if I will be able to post tomorrow. If I don't, then I will be back before the year ends!
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and best wishes to all my readers! :)
